Each set includes 4 carbon brushes, 4 springs and 1 holder

Conducting continuously the electrical current between stationary parts and rotating parts, the carbon brushes are key parts for brush type electric motors. In a brush type motor, the commutator rotates on a shaft and the fixed carbon brushes ride on it, permitting the flow of electricity and complete a circuit.
