Vestas V80 2MW Mk0-6 Brush Holder Assembly is a complete slip ring brush holder assembly built specifically for the early generation Vestas V80 2MW doubly-fed wind turbines, covering Mk0, Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5 and Mk6 revisions. The holder body is manufactured with high-performance reinforced thermoplastic composite material, featuring excellent insulation, heat resistance and vibration resistance to endure harsh onshore wind farm environments. Equipped with stainless steel constant force springs, it keeps uniform contact pressure between carbon brush and rotating slip ring, minimizing electrical sparking, reducing slip ring abrasion and lowering generator excitation system failure risk. Silver-plated copper alloy terminals ensure stable electrical conductivity and low heat generation under continuous variable wind load.
